All the teachers on our staff are fully qualified and selected on the basis of sharing and wishing to actively develop the school’s educational values. Great importance is given to continually updating their training and further their professional status through courses, congresses and seminars. A characteristic of the school is the permanency of the staff, traditionally a low turn-over rate of teachers, an essential factor in real team-work and coordination within and between sections of the school. Our teaching staff are considered and consider themselves as educators in the broadest sense, not merely transmitters of knowledge, nor judges of undesirable behaviour, but facilitators in establishing a true two-way pupil-teacher relationship through open communication as a basis to understanding the pupil as a person, not merely a learner, and his/her problems in order to better help him/her to solve the difficulties and advance in his/her development at each stage.

Given the focus on the individual personal and academic development of each pupil, the school has a specialised Educational Psychology Dept that works closely with teachers and families to assess the potential and current progress and any special needs of pupils from Infants to school-leaving age as well as to advise teachers on such aspects as group development and dynamics.
In this sense, the close relationship between families and tutors is also important to attain good cooperation and agreement in the pupils’ education.
