Arising from the awareness that the general syllabus of school subjects is insufficient in covering all the educational needs of its pupils, the school has designed a series of special programmes for each educational level to deal specifically with matters that are basic to the aims of a broader education. Some examples of these programmes are Table Manners & Good Eating Habits, Health Education Topics in Primary, and the most notable one in Secondary and baccalaureate - Health Education for Adolescents and Pre-adolescents (a cross-curricular educational course on eating habits, interpersonal relationships, alcohol, smoking and drugs).
Other projects and activities are undertaken so that all the members of the school’s community have a responsible attitude towardsthe protection of our environment. |

Also worthy of mention is the role that ASAM plays in the school with projects of collaboration with NGOs with an educational emphasis where the aim is to foster an awareness of existing inequalities in the world today and the need for solidarity and action in order to alleviate them. The coordinator organises voluntary pupil groups from Secondary to plan and coordinate educational activities and fund-raising events through the school and school year, for example, the Annual Sponsored Run to raise funds for an NGO working at the international level.
